• Providing a friendly and welcoming approach, putting great service at the heart of everything you do
• Answering questions people may have about the National Trust and being able to explain where donations go and impact they make.
• Ensuring we follow fundraising guidance, regulations and best practice
• Potentially volunteering at one of our successful second-hand bookshops, supporting big campaigns or projects and volunteering with local partners.
• Suggesting fundraising ideas and giving feedback so we can continuously improve
• Being part of a team that may need to adapt and change in response to local needs, National Trust priorities or changes to government guidelines e.g .Covid

As a volunteer, we ask that you are able support us for a minimum of 4 hours per week, you can decide how many hours you are able to give each week beyond that, shifts are available any time between 10am-6pm, 7 days a week and can fit easily around studies, a part-time job and everything else in life.

We are looking for Telephone Befrienders. The role will only take one hour of your time per week. You will be matched with an older person and you will give them a call once a week to keep them company.
The role is remote so you can do it from the comfort of your own home. It also offers great flexibility. We will match you with someone that matches your availability.
