Do you recruit, manage, co-ordinate, or otherwise lead volunteers in Nottingham City? If so, why not get involved in the NCVS Leaders of Volunteers Network (LoVN).
Meeting dates:
LoVN meetings are held every few months and regular meetings of the network take place online.
The next regular online LoVN meeting will be held via Zoom on Wednesday 19 March 2025 from 10am to 12 noon.
To ensure you receive the Zoom joining instructions, please register your attendance here.
We're pleased to also offer occasional opportunities for in-person meetings. LoVN Extra is the “branding” for our in-person events held between our regular, online network meetings.
The next LoVN Extra meeting will take place on Tuesday 18 February 2025 from 11am to 1pm, and is kindly being hosted by Middle Street Resource Centre. Places are limited, so please register your attendance here.
Future dates for your calendar:
- Online meetings
To be confirmed
- In-person (Extra) meetings
To be confirmed
Who can join the network?
Membership is open to any community / voluntary organisation or statutory organisation recruiting and supporting volunteers in Nottingham. You needn't be based in the City but you must be providing services to people who do live within Nottingham City.
Do I have to attend all the meetings?
We know how busy organisations are so you don’t have to attend every meeting. The meetings are for information sharing, and we make sure that all members receive key information and action notes from the meetings, including any speaker presentations.
Membership benefits:
As a network member you will receive regular updates on volunteering news, events and training. At each meeting there is discussion about different aspects of volunteer management, as well as sharing best practice and information. There will be space, too, for networking with other groups and building links around the city.
