Purpose of Role:

SFiCE Foundation offers a 3 course meal to people in need on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday. We are a food redistribution charity which means that we pick up surplus food from certain outlets which are part of the FairShare Midlands group. At the moment, this includes Tescos, Nandos, ASDA and FairShare Midlands.

We need someone for a few hours a week, who would be able to use a smartphone to accept food donations between 7-7.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and then be able to pick them up either that evening or, by arrangement, the morning after and bring this food to SFiCE House.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

SFICE are looking for someone for a few hours a week to accept food donations on the FairShare mobile phone app between 7-7.30pm and to use your own car to collect food donations and deliver them to SFiCE House the following morning.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Driving license and use of their own car
Some knowledge of Nottingham
Ability with a Smartphone (their own)
