Purpose of Role:
This role is to make sure that as many people as possible know about the support that YANA offers to Iranian women in Nottingham by producing and posting interesting, engaging and interesting stories on social media.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
You don't have to be an influencer with thousands of followers, just someone who can tell stories about what women in Nottingham are doing

If so, we are looking for a volunteer to help keep our Facebook, Twitter and other social media interesting and engaging, highlight promotions and campaigns and relay updates about our services.

We will give guidance on this, but the ability to work on your own initiative is essential. The role would be ideal for anyone looking to work in social media in the future or already has experience and has some time to spare.

The role will be based in your own home so offers flexibility to suit other commitments you may have such as school, college or Uni. You will be required to attend induction and meetings with the project leader and other volunteers to learn all about what we can do to support Iranian Women and their children and families, and the difference we make.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
You don't have to be Iranian
YANA is a women's group and our volunteers should be women
Creativity and attention to detail
* Excellent visual communication and organisational skills
* Understanding of confidentiality and effects of bereavement on children and families
* Passion to make a difference for families who have been bereaved and get others involved
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently
* Self-motivated with the ability to complete routine and non-routine tasks as needed
* Regular commitment to be agreed - suggested minimum of 2 hours per week
* Experience as a user of various social media platforms
