Purpose of Role:
Come and join our friendly, informal team at the Vine Community Centre - a few minutes away from the Radford Road Tram Stop to support the Coco Club session.
This is a session for older people to get together for coffee and a chat. There are activities and guests. It just needs you to help out for about an hour and a half on a Tuesday morning.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The session is for people over 55, but as a volunteer, you can be older or younger than that.
You'll be extending a warm welcome to the visitors, joining in with the activities and generally helping out with whatever is going on at the time.
You could come up with ideas for sessions and even lead an activty.
The Vine’s purpose is to essentially, but not exclusively, serve the community if Hyson Green, Forest Fields, New Basford.
This community is one of the most disadvantaged areas in Nottingham, with needs arising from very wide cultural diversity, high unemployment, lone parenting, low academic achievement, mental ill-health, asylum seekers & refugees, substance misuse, physical disability, ex and repeat offending and an elderly population.
So your communication skills, your tea making skills and your willingness to join in the fun will not only make a huge difference to the people who come to the Coco Club, but you'll develop new friends and skillls.
