As a Volunteer Ambassador, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact by representing Runspire Nottingham at events, roadshows, and more.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Location: Various locations across Nottingham
Hours: Flexible, depending on availability and event schedules

Overview:
As a Volunteer Ambassador at Runspire Nottingham, you will play a key role in raising awareness of our charity and its mission, particularly in the local community. Your work will involve engaging with potential members at events, roadshows, and other outreach activities. You will also support fundraising efforts by promoting our initiatives and encouraging donations to help us continue to offer free or low-cost fitness sessions to individuals in the community.

Responsibilities:
• Represent Runspire Nottingham at events, roadshows, and other public activities.
• Engage with potential new members and encourage them to join our programmes.
• Assist with promoting the charity’s mission, values, and upcoming events.
• Help raise funds through donation drives, sponsorships, and participation in fundraising events.
• Provide information to the public on how they can support or get involved with Runspire Nottingham.
• Maintain positive relationships with community members, event attendees, and sponsors.
• Assist with social media outreach and event promotion when needed.
• Report back on event success, audience engagement, and feedback.

• Strong Communication Skills: ability to speak confidently and clearly to a wide range of people.
• Enthusiasm and Passion: a genuine interest in promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing.
• Friendly and Approachable: a warm, engaging personality that makes others feel comfortable.
• Reliability: consistency and dependability when attending events and engaging with the community.
• Team Player: ability to work well with others in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in Public Speaking or Community Engagement: comfort engaging with the public in an outreach role.
• Fundraising Experience: previous involvement in fundraising efforts or events.
• Interest in Health and Fitness: a background in fitness or wellbeing is a plus, but not required.
• Social Media Savvy: basic knowledge of using social media platforms for promotion
