Purpose of Role:
Warren Primary Academy is a primary school located in Nottingham and is currently rated 'Good' by Ofsted. The academy is looking to appoint a new Community Governor to join the Academy Governing Body (AGB) to support its ongoing improvement. Warren Primary Academy is part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Warren Academy is a Good primary school located in Nottingham and is looking to appoint a new Community Governor to join the Academy Governing Body (AGB) to support its ongoing improvement. Warren Academy has recently been through an inspection and is now rated Good.
Warren Academy Governors attend 6 meetings per academic year in their role, one per half term, and they are encouraged to conduct additional assurance visits to the school site during the year. Governors can take on a specialist focus in specific areas of school and training is provided. Governors usually serve for a four year term but could do longer or shorter depending on the time you have to give.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
All L.E.A.D. Governors are subscribed to a Governor training package so prior Governance knowledge is not essential. What we do ask if that Governors have the time to commit to the role and to bring enthusiasm and curiosity.
