Purpose of Role:
Your skills in storytelling and social media could come together in this flexible volunteer opportunity to enrich the lives of people with dementia and similar cognitive problems. The Beeston Dementia Studio does this by providing the time, space and support for individuals with a dementia diagnosis to express themselves, enjoy new experiences, practise skills

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Our aim is to reach all the families affected by Dementia in the district as well as the professionals who support them.
We need your skills to help raise awareness about what we can offer people with dementia and their carers in the Broxtowe Area.
- Promote our activities using appropriate media
- Co-ordinate the development and maintenance of content across our existing and new social media platforms.
- Co-ordinate the design and artwork for these digital channels
- Utilise data, research and feedback to engage with existing and new audiences
This role could be suitable for remote volunteering from home or work with fairly regular visits and contact with the team The Studio in Beeston.
It could also be a great Corporate Volunteering role for a team to develop systems that volunteers can use going forward.
