Purpose of Role:
We’re reaching out to invite enthusiastic and community minded individuals to join our volunteer team at our Charity Shop in Sherwood. Whether you are newly retired or simply looking for a way to give back, we’d love to have you on board.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We currently have several opportunities available, including half day shifts on Saturday and Wednesday afternoons, assisting with customer service and the day-to-day operations of the shop. Additionally, we are looking for ‘floater’ volunteers, who could step in as needed, potentially at short notice.
If you prefer a quieter role, we also have positions available in the back room, where we need someone to help steam clothes and prepare them to be sold. This role would have little interaction with the public but there may be times when you are called upon in the shop, making it ideal for someone who prefers a behind the scenes position.
Volunteering with us is a fantastic way to stay active, meet new people and contribute to this great cause. No matter your preference we can find a role that suits your schedule.
