How many places are on offer?

Purpose of Role:

Help plan, prepare, and plate a free 2-3 course meal for the local community to enjoy, using fruit and vegetables that would otherwise be wasted.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic about supporting their local community, to work as part of a team of volunteers and cook a two-three course meal for their local community. In the kitchen you’ll learn some great skills like how to cater for large numbers and make nutritionally balanced meals, and because you won’t know what your ingredients are before each session, you’ll have a chance to get creative when coming up with every meal.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

No experience needed, we provide full training and support during sessions.

How long to complete training and recruitment?

Registering to volunteer takes 10 minutes and you get the training necessary to volunteer with us through registering. On site training should take no more than 1 session as you learn how the session runs.
