Purpose of Role:
Support Through Sport is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and organised individual who will work alongside an ambitious team to support the Marketing Executive in promoting Support Through Sport across a range of social media platforms as well as assisting in the production of videos and photography projects.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
You will need to have good communication and interpersonal skills as well as experience of working with social media, you will be expected
to attend our sports sessions to assist in compiling a media library to showcase our sports delivery and intrventions.

At Support Through Sport, we use a range of positive initiatives as diversion and intervention programmes to support young people whilst tackling negative influences such as knife crime, gang violence, youth offending and serious youth violence. Our work is focused on building brighter futures and creating safer communities, through the power of sport and youth work combined.

You will be supported to meet a benchmark of training and standards which includes:

First Aid Training
Safeguarding Children and Young People Training
Enhanced DBS Check

Raising the company profile in all media related aspects

Supporting the development and delivery of marketing campaigns

Promoting events and news via social media.

Raising the profile and activities of Support Through Sport via digital platforms.

Create, develop and maintain digital platforms on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Maintain website content and ensure up to date information is publicised

Source local events to promote Support Through Sport activities

Attending community events - locally, regionally and nationally - to represent the organisation and its core aims and objectives.

Attend any and all meetings which are relevant to your role.

Maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality with participants, staff, and volunteers.

Ensure an equal and inclusive approach.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience of videography/photography
Ability to maintain. confidentiality
Ability to meet deadlines
A full UK driving license
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Working well as a team
Motivated and positive
A role model to young people
Passionate about making a difference
Evening availability
