Purpose of Role:
Support Through Sport is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to foster the growth of Support Through Sport by researching and following up opportunities to make new partnerships with local and national organisations, assisting in developing a Strategic Business Development Plan to ensure that Support Through Sport is ready to take on new growth opportunities and move forward into the future.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
At Support Through Sport, we use a range of positive initiatives as diversion and intervention programmes to support young people whilst tackling negative influences such as knife crime, gang violence, youth offending and serious youth violence. Our work is focused on building brighter futures and creating safer communities, through the power of sport and youth work
combined.

You will be supported to meet a benchmark of training and standards which includes:
First Aid Training
Safeguarding Children and Young People Training
Enhanced DBS Check

. Seeking opportunities for growth and writing reports on findings.
. Presenting findings to executives and other staff.
. Assisting in working on funding bids to ensure the sustainability of the organisation.
. Contacting clients in new markets to expand the business.
. Building relationships with partners.
. Contributing to creative discussions and decision-making about the business' future.
. Encouraging other employees and customers to take part in growing the business by showing enthusiasm for your work and maintaining a positive attitude.
. Attend any and all meetings which are relevant to your role.
. Maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality with participants, staff, and volunteers.
. Ensuring an equal and inclusive approach.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

A full UK driving license
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Working well as a team
