Purpose of Role:
Wanted! Events Admin Volunteer. This volunteer role will enable Juno to attend more externals events which will increase the awareness of the organisation and the support that is available. It will also help us to provide internal events for staff to increase morale and support staff wellbeing. The role allows for more team capacity, enabling more survivors, supporters and communities to be reached.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Role Summary
To provide support to the Fundraising & Communications Team. The Fundraising & Communications team manages all internal and external communications. Including creating content and maintaining:

• Website function
• Printed organisational material
• Social media platforms
• Internal Broadcast
• Fundraising

Fundraising & Communication also includes reviewing performance of all communication channels and planning organisational events.

Responsibilities and Duties
The list below describes the main activities and tasks of the role but is not a finite list
• Preparing marketing materials for external events.
• Checking items back in when event materials are returned.
• Monitoring stock levels of items for events.
• Helping to plan and organise internal events for staff.
• Helping to create materials/information packs for events.
• Liaising with staff, external partners and Juno’s Social Media Volunteer about events.
• Providing support at external events.
• Support with wider team activities as needed.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
This role would suit someone who:

• Wants experience working in an office environment.
• Can work to processes, completing clearly defined tasks.
• Wants experience in event planning and organisation.
