Purpose of Role:

Help Mount Zion Church raise vital funds to deliver community support running by helping out in our City Centre charity shop.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for volunteers to assist in running our charity shop. You would be sorting and pricing donations, ensuring the shop is neat and tidy, handling cash and helping customers to make their purchases. An ideal role for someone who enjoys talking to customers and being the friendly face of the shop whilst helping to raise valuable funds to keep services running.

At the moment, we are only able to open on Monday, Friday and Saturday. You could help us to open six days a week by giving some of your time.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Good communication skills
Sociable and happy to talk to customers
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to deal with cash

Retail experience not essential
