Purpose of Role:
You are invited to join the committee to help organise Nottinghamshire's Got Talent. This is the Nottinghamshire's based talent competition to provide opportunities for people from all walks of life who have a talent they would like to showcase and share with others.

Whilst open to anyone and everyone who would like to take part, Nottinghamshire's Got Talent is particularly supportive of people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health conditions, visible disabilities and invisible disabilities which is why we are so passionate putting this amazing Talent competition on.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Nottinghamshire's Got Talent is seeking to recruit new committee members with skills to assist the project's founder in developing the organisation.

As a committee member you'll be involved in every aspect of planning and running this established event that raises funds for charities as well as providing a supportive and accessible environment for performers from a variety of backgrounds.

During the audition process and at the Grand Final, we go above and beyond to ensure that all those auditioning who have additional needs are provided with the support that they need making it just as fun and accessible for them to audition as it is for those auditioning who are not disabled.

Your skills, as listed below, will inform and guide the committee when decisions and actions are to be taken within that field. You will also be required to take part in discussions about day-to-day issues and offer practical support.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
You will have leadership skills, teamwork, good communication skills, and decision making. Your experience and knowledge of mental and physical health and wellbeing, as well as your empathy and compassion, are as important as your event management skills.
