Purpose of Role:

A Community Health and Wellbeing Champion is a trusted voice of key health and wellbeing messages in Ashfield, Mansfield and Newark and Sherwood. If you have a few hours to spare, we would are interested in hearing from you.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We would like to share with you a fantastic opportunity to become a Community Health and Wellbeing Champion. There is absolutely no time commitment to this role but comes with a fantastic opportunity to gain a free qualification in Health Improvement (all of this is online and takes a few hours to complete) – great for your personal development and future C.V’s. The role is all about sharing positive information with people in your community, this could be as simple as popping a leaflet in your local shop or talking about something with a neighbour. The information comes out monthly in a newsletter and your free to share as little or as much as you like. It would be fantastic to hear from you and share more about this great opportunity”

There is a similar role available in South Nottinghamshire as well.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

You don't need any experience or qualifications as full training and lots of support will be provided.
You just need an interest in improving health and wellbeing in your community.
