Purpose of Role:
This flexible opportunity invites you to use your creative and website skills to support people with dementia, their families and carers. By refreshing the Beeston Memory Cafe's website, you will provide a vibrant showcase of the cafe and reach people who don't currently visit.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
You will be volunteering to refresh and develop Beeston Memory cafe's website web page in ways which:
Enhance engagement
Make the cafe's services easy to find online and access physically
Showcase the work that we do
Attract potential funders
This could be a short-term project, or you could continue to volunteer and mantain and update the site and perhaps engage with other social media channels, to help promote engagement.
You will have to commit some time to communicate and meet with the leaders and members of the cafe, so some travel to Beeston may be necessary.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
You will need good website development skills. The current site at http://beestonmemorycafe.com/ has been built in Wordpress, but you may want to suggest another platform.
It would be great if you have an awareness of dementia.
Alongside your web skills, you also need an eye for good design.
You will need a computer and internet access
