ROLE DESCRIPTION:
You will use your own vehicle to collect hot meals from our kitchen at about 11:30am and take them to one of our external venue luncheon clubs for the elderly in or around Nottingham. The meals are transported in catering trays in hot boxes. You will then set up and serve the meals to the diners, helped by the venues staff or residents. The purpose of these luncheon clubs is to bring people together to eat a meal socially to help combat loneliness and social isolation.
Meals are all pre-booked and tables are prepared prior to your arrival.
After the meal, you will be involved in clearing tables before returning the equipment to the kitchen.
This is a regular commitment of just 2 hours a day, once or twice a week, although we will make arrangements for days when you need to have time off.
