Purpose of Role:
To be part of a team of volunteers producing, cooking and serving great tasting, healthy meals for our elderly and vulnerable customers in various sheltered housing locations in and around Nottingham.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
You will meet at our kitchen at about 8:45am when the food preparation takes place. You will be a key part of the team in that you will be hands-on with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals that will be served at Foxton Gardens, for home delivery and our out-based luncheon club venue.
By 11:30am, some of the completed meals will be transported to the day's out-based venue by driver and server volunteers, or by home delivery drivers. You could be involved in one of the out-based teams, or you could be serving meals at our base location before clearing up and finishing for the day.
This is a regular commitment of at least one or two days per week, although we will make arrangements for days when you need to have time off.
