Purpose of Role:

Reception is the friendly, welcoming face of Base 51.

Your smile and friendly welcome could be the vital first impression that a young person has on their first visit when you become one of the Base 51 volunteer receptionists.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Reception at Base 51 is more than just meeting and greeting staff, volunteers and visitors. As a volunteer receptionist, you will meet young people from all kinds of backgrounds and help them to get the most from their visit.

In addition, you may also be able to be involved in other areas of Base 51, such as administration or publicity and marketing.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

You will need to have good communication skills, by phone, online and in person.
You will have basic IT skills
