Purpose of Role:
Base 51 has been supporting young people for many years. Now they're offering you the chance to join their team as a volunteer youth worker. As well as great experience, you can also be trained towards a youth work work qualification.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This is an exciting opportunity for you if you're interested in gaining, using or refreshing your experience of supporting young people. Base 51's sessions offer young people the chance to be involved in activities such as sport, music, and art.
We have a great space, but it just needs your passion to harness the enthusiasm of the young people who flock to the sessions each week. These take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 5 and 8pm and on Saturday between 1 and 5.
This is a great opportunity for you to involve, motivate and lead a group of young people and to develop your own youth work skills.
