Purpose of Role:
We are a Books and Music shop in the heart of the city centre. Volunteers process donations, research unusual items and provide excellent customer service.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are a Books and Music shop in the heart of the city centre. Volunteers play a key role in the running of the shop and making money for Oxfam's mission to overcome poverty and suffering. A variety of roles exist within the shop and include:
Customer service
Processing donated books and music
Using computers to research and value unusual items

The shop is open from 9.30-5.30 and shifts are 4.5 hours 9.00-1.30 pm and 1.00-5.30 pm.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential: Ability to offer good quality customer care, social skills, teamwork skills and reliability.

Desirable: Knowledge or interest in music/books
