Purpose of Role:

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Volunteers are always needed to help support various day time activities including arts and crafts, drama, gardening, sports, cooking or to support our users on a one to one basis with their basic skills in literacy and numeracy.
Skills and Qualifications:

Duties:
- Assisting with running of activities (including setting up/clearing away).
- Supporting Service Users to participate in activities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to work with people with a learning disability
- Empathy, patience, sense of humour
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to use initiative
