Purpose of Role:
This is a great opportunity to join Framework's befriending and mentoring programme. Your role will be crucial to this programme as you will help individuals that experience isolation access social activities within the community and help broaden their social network. You will also volunteer alongside keyworkers to assist people to achieve specific goals that they have identified.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Each volunteer will meet regularly with their allocated service user and help them to access and undertake agreed activities

Volunteers will promote service user independence and maintain professional boundaries.

Volunteers will maintain contact with the team and their supervisor, attending supervision and training as agreed

Commitment: This will depend on how much spare time you have to commit to the role and the service’s needs. It is recommended that you have contact with your supervisor weekly and arrange supervisions in line with the amount of hours you volunteer — additional time will be needed for this.

We require a minimum of 4 - 8 hours weekly or fortnightly. A minimum commitment of 6 months is also preferred.

Support: You will be fully supported by a Volunteer Supervisor. Time will be committed to your personal development and will include supervision, support, and training plans. Out of pocket expenses will be paid. This includes travel costs, lunch and child/other care.
