Purpose of Role:
Here's a chance to use your experience of volunteering to take a leadership role to support the volunteer team in the East Midlands only Arabic Women's Group.
This small group has big ambitions and would welcome your organisational skills.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Leader of Volunteers you will guide the group's volunteers throughout their volunteer journey.
This will include:
- Developing a range of volunteer roles
- Recruiting and training volunteers
- Providing ongoing support for the volunteers
- Being a first point of contact for the volunteeer team
Heya takes part in events run by other organisations as well as hosting its own. Part of your role could be attending some of them.
The role is flexible, so you can arrange times and days to suit you.
We are currently unable to meet volunteer expenses, but we hope to do so as soon as funding permits.

You'll have some experience of being a volunteer
You'll be passionate about supporting Arab women to overcome the barriers that they face
IT skills
Good communication skills
If you are fairly fluent in spoken and written Arabic, this would be a huge advantage.
