Purpose of Role:
Heya is offering a unique opportunity to support the East Midlands only Arabic Women's Group by sharing some of the administration with the group's founder. This small group has big ambitions and would welcome your organisational skills.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Use your administrative skills and experience to ensure that Heya is able to provide the vital support for their work to break isolation
- empower all women -to break the barriers down for women
- create a mutual interest
- to reduce hate crime
- reduce isolation by getting women together to take part in activities and making new friends
This flexible, home-based role could involve:
- answering and making phone calls
- responding to general enquiries
- keeping files organised on computer and on paper
- you'll have regualr meetings face to face and online with the project director.
If you are fairly fluent in spoken and written Arabic, this would be a huge advantage.
The role is flexible, so you can arrange times and days to suit you.
We are currently unable to meet volunteer expenses, but we hope to do so as soon as funding permits.
