Purpose of Role:
Emmanuel House is a long established charity offering help and support to homeless and vulnerable people in Nottingham. This is a Listening and Befriending Role with-in the Drop-in at Emmanuel House.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Make contact with and maintain relationships with Visitors
Engage in conversations with Visitors on their own terms
Enable Visitors to reflect
Encourage Visitors to engage with the support services on offer
Use table top games and activities to ‘break the ice.’
Communicate with staff about any risk issues concerning Visitors

This role is offered 10-midday Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
You will need to be friendly and outgoing, able to engage with people from a variety of backgrounds.
