Purpose of Role:
Emmanuel House is a long established charity offering help and support to homeless and vulnerable people in Nottingham City Centre. Your role is to assist the cook to prepare healthy, nutritious and tasty lunchtime meals, from a range of basic ingredients for 12-20 people.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Main responsibility
A volunteer cook's assistant will help to prepare a healthy and nutritious lunchtime meal for approximately 15 homeless and vulnerable people including a vegetarian option.

Tasks
The tasks that you might be asked to help with are:
Preparing two meal options
Willingness to undertake Food Hygiene Level 2
Be creative with the ingredients we have in
Wash pans and utensils, clean cooker, surfaces and empty bins.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Willingness to undertake a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
