Purpose of Role:
Hockley Hustle is a music and arts festival in Nottingham that is seeking enthusiastic and friendly people to volunteer with us on the day of the festival for 3 hours, stewarding and ensuring a safety environment for everyone attending.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Hockley Hustle is an annual music and arts festival and a part of the Hustle Collective. Directly contributing to over £500,000 raised for Nottinghamshire charities and communities since 2006, The Hustles' core ethos is to be a force for positive change and to support and empower others to do so. This year sees our first year returning since 2019 and the COVID pandemic and we are excited to be back bringing the community together and fundraising for local charities. The festival will take place on Sunday 23rd October in the Hockley and Sneinton Market area of Nottingham City with volunteering opportunities from 10am-10pm latest.
We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly people to volunteer with us on the day of the festival for 3 hours, stewarding and ensuring a safety environment for everyone attending.
As a Hockley Hustle volunteer you will be allocated a set shift in advance of up to 3 hours to:
- Provide information and assistance with general crowd safety throughout the event
- Monitor capacity levels and ensure the site is cleared of public in a systematic way whilst supported by venue and festival staff
- Ensure staff areas are maintained throughout the event
- Immediately inform festival organisers of any accident or emergency.
You will not be required to provide First Aid or physical security in any capacity and should alert festival organisers in the event that help is required.
In exchange we will provide a free wristband with access to the festival for the day, Hockley Hustle merch and a huge thank you from all us.
