ROLE DESCRIPTION:
There's no doubt that Charity Shops are one of mainstays of our High Streets and (almost) all of them are crying out for volunteers. When you have so much choice, why choose to go and help in the ExtraCare Charity Shop in Bulwell?

Could it be because you'll have a fun time with a great team of people who are raising the money to make a real difference to the lives of elderly and vulnerable people?

Duties include using the till, keeping the shop clean and tidy and getting the stock out for your customers. You can come in for a few hours each week, or for several days. Your volunteering will be arranged fit in with your other activities and commitments. But you will need to make a regular commitment so that the team can keep the shop open and the sales coming in.

You'll get lots of training in all the aspects of your role and you'll very quickly become a vital part of the team. You'll also get great support from the shop manager, the deputy shop manager and the rest of the team of volunteers and the experience you'll get could set you up for a career in customer service or retail.

If you would like to be ttained to use the till, we would also welcome you into the team.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
You don't need any experience of shops, except being a customer. This means that you can see things from the customers point of view.

It would be good if you have a reasonable standard of spoken and written English and you are able to become part of a friendly and supportive team.
