Purpose of Role:
Join a supportive and friendly team and help Emmanuel House raise vital funds for its work with homeless and vulnerable people. Get involved in all aspects of the shop, from interacting and serving customers, creating fabulous eye catching window displays through to sorting stock – there is a role for everyone.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Every penny made in the shop is spent supporting homeless people in the Support Centre so it is very important that the shop does well.
You will be working in the on-site charity shop doing the
following: -
- Serving customers
- Helping to sort out donation
- Pricing goods
- Organising and tidying stock
- Attending to the organising of the shop between customer sales
- Handling cash transactions
- Recording sales
The shop is used by general public as well as our visitors.
You can choose one or more, of three time-slots between 10.00am and 4.00pm. We will be open from 2nd September 2020 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, although we hope to be open 6 days a week as soon as possible.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
We are looking for people who are interested in fashion and retail
Essential Requirements
A willingness to work well with others;
Good communication skills;
A caring attitude.
Must be able to work without prejudice.
Desirable Requirements : Any retail experience or experience of a role involving customer service.
