Purpose of Role:

Exercising dogs for older people who are housebound or have reduced mobility.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

If an elderly person becomes housebound or has poor mobility, we try to arrange a rota of volunteers to exercise their dog on a daily basis. We always try to match volunteers with someone in/near their home area and the commitment can be as much or as little as the volunteer can spare.
