How many places are on offer?
Purpose of Role:
We are looking for Tree-mendous volunteers to help us collect Christmas trees and take them to be recycled.

We need drivers, especially is you have your own van or trailor.
Driver to drive hire vans and navigators.

All volunteers will collect Christmas Trees, in pairs, from a designated area using the route map provided. Once your van is full you will bring the trees to the recycling drop off point.

You will be comfortable loading and unloading the van with Christmas trees, which can be heavy.

The January weather isn't the best, so you will need to be comfortbale being out and about in sun, rain or snow.

You will be part of a great team, recycling and helping raise vital funds for Nottingham Hosptials Charity.

Collection dates are Friday 7th January 2022 - Sunday 9th January 2022
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Nottingham Hospitals Charity is undertaking Christmas Tree Recycling in return for a donation to support our work.

The charity will be collecting pre-booked Christmas Trees from NG post codes and we will need volunteers to help us do this and support your local NHS hospitals.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
E - Ability to carry/handle Christmas Trees which can be heavy at times
E - Current valid driving licence and own vehicle (for driving roles)
E - Able to communicate at all levels
E – Flexible
D - Able to take direction
D - Knowledge of Nottingham Hosptals Charity
E- knowledge of local community
E – Honesty and Trustworthiness
E – Friendliness
E - Presentable and personable
