Purpose of Role:
Our Grassroots Garden is used by clients, volunteers and staff at Nottingham Refugee Forum. The garden is a beautiful, peaceful place to sit in nature. Our garden also provides produce for our Community Cafe, Cafe Narjis, that provides free meals for our clients.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Looking after the garden: weeding, pruning, digging, watering, composting etc
Seed sowing and planting fruit, flower and vegetables
Growing and harvesting fruit and vegetables for the café.
Looking after the wildlife in the garden.
