This session was delivered as a webinar via Teams on Tuesday 22 April 2025

Our sixth session in this series was delivered by Anna Tickle, Clinical Psychologist from Framework who led the development of the Learning Disabilities and Homelessness Toolkit and Emily Hill, Trainee Psychologist from Framework.

During this webinar we examined the different learning disabilities criteria, how learning disabilities may present and the reasonable adjustments people can make.

The Homelessness Toolkit was developed to improve knowledge and understanding for those working in services to be able to recognise when someone may have a learning disability and how reasonable adjustments can be made to support with communication needs, daily activities and developing social and practical skills.

The toolkit is a starting point to enable good working practices in supporting people with learning disabilities as well as signposting to further information and resources.
