Baobab Foundation is a grantmaker, connector, and support system for Black African/Caribbean and Global Majority communities in the UK who are working towards racial justice. They have funding of between £5,000 and £30,000 per year for up to five years that is available to Black and Global Majority-led registered and non-registered groups and collectives that are working towards racial justice.
Baobab Foundation will prioritise smaller, grassroots organisations, and funding will only be awarded to those who align with its four principles:
- Representation
- Self-led
- At least 75% of service users must be Black or Global Majority
- Purpose and practices are intentionally challenging oppressive systems.
They will be running 'Ask us anything' sessions in the lead up to the closing date:
