The deadline for applications is Friday 30 May 2025
The Pink Ribbon Foundation is offering grants of up to £6,000, with the potential for higher amounts at the Foundation's discretion, to charitable organisations dedicated to supporting those living with breast cancer. Eligible entities include social enterprises, Community Interest Companies (CICs), and charities.
The Foundation's mission is to assist breast cancer charities in helping their clients recover and live longer, healthier, and happier lives. Through its grant-making efforts, the Pink Ribbon Foundation funds practical projects and initiatives aimed at delivering good physical and mental health to individuals with, and recovering from, breast cancer.
Applications should focus on specific projects rather than 'business as usual' or core costs. However, the Foundation acknowledges the necessity of core costs for organisational continuity and may provide funding for these if deemed vital.
Recognising that core costs are inevitable in project delivery, the Foundation allows successful grant recipients to allocate up to 15% of the total grant amount towards these expenses. This portion of the grant is unrestricted, enabling recipients to use it as they see fit. Projects funded by the Foundation are expected to last between 12 and 18 months, as long-term projects are generally not supported.
Interested organisations should download the 2020 application form from the Pink Ribbon Foundation's website, print it out, and mail it along with a set of their most recent accounts.
Applications should be mailed to The Trustees, Pink Ribbon foundation, Crofton House, 5 Morley Close, Orpington, Kent, BR6 8JR.
