Severn Trent has opened its brand new NeighbourGood Scheme. It's designed to make a difference in the places we all cherish—our local communities. The goal is to support existing community-driven initiatives or new ones by providing funding and hands-on volunteering.
Local groups, organisations, charities, and community project owners are invited to apply for up to £2,500 funding and 20 to 30 Severn Trent volunteers across two days to support with the delivery of their projects or initiatives.
They're looking for projects that empower people, enhance places, and promote a healthier environment. Whether it's skill development through mentoring, creating better spaces for community interaction, or preserving our natural surroundings. A panel of local experts will shortlist the most diverse and impactful community projects, after which Severn Trent customers will have the opportunity to vote for the projects they believe will make the greatest impact. Severn Trent will provide not only funding but also hands-on volunteering efforts.
