Proud To Pitch In is an initiative from Greene King IPA that provides grant funding of up to £4,000 to support grassroots sports clubs in the UK. The programme focuses on projects that positively impact the local community, with beneficiaries aged 18 and over. Emphasis is placed on projects that demonstrate a long-term impact and where the funding will provide a tangible benefit.
Examples of previously funded projects include:
- Renovations of a club’s facilities, making them more accessible and inclusive.
- Coaching qualifications, as well as referee courses.
- New equipment.
Applications are to be made via the ActionFunder website, where you will be asked to register an account to proceed. If you’d like any advice on how to apply, ActionFunder runs regular online drop in sessions at 12.30pm on the last Thursday of every month. Register here.
Sessions will include:
- A short intro to ActionFunder.
- A tour of the platform with tips on how to maximise your chances of getting the funding.
- Plenty of time for Q&As.
