McCarthy Stone Foundation is offering around 20 grants of up to £7,500 each to help with the project costs of running dementia clubs and memory cafes run by organisations that are working with adults over 65 years of age. The funding is for groups providing services that assist people with dementia and/or their carers, such as memory cafes, dementia clubs, and courses for carers.
The priority is to fund activities in areas of high deprivation where this affects older people. There are specific named locations prioritised by the Foundation: Nottingham is on the list, and projects delivered in the more deprived areas of these locations will be favoured. All areas in the county are not listed.
Applications are accepted from community organisations, registered charities, exempt charities, and other groups (including CICs limited by guarantee). Your organisation must have an annual income of less than £250,000.
