Grants from the MSE Charity

Please note, following the January 2024 grant round, the Charity has gone into a period of strategic review and will re-consider all future grant themes.  Updates will be posted on their Latest News page, please check back in June 2024. 

The MSE Charity is a grant-making charity, launched in May 2008 by founder of the acclaimed Money Saving Expert website, Martin Lewis OBE. It is dedicated to supporting UK voluntary groups deliver financial life skills, which make a lasting impact on the way people think, behave and manage their money. All grants are below £7,500.

The themed grant in this round is for projects focused on building financial capability skills assisting groups who support children, youth and families. This includes:

  • Schools-based work
  • Migrants
  • Lone parents
  • Victims and survivors of domestic abuse
  • Family outreach services

 
This grant round opened on Tuesday 3 January 2023, and closes at 5pm on Tuesday 31 January 2023. Or earlier if they have already accepted 40 applications. Each grant round is limited to the first 40 accepted applications, so please apply early in the month to ensure your application is considered.
