The Practice Development Unit (PDU) is seeking contributors from specialist organisations to work together in developing new e-learning resources exploring gender responsive and culturally sensitive approaches in working with people facing Severe and Multiple Disadvantage (SMD).
The work has been commissioned by Nottingham City Integrated Care Partnership (ICP), to raise awareness of the importance of understanding gender, culture and ethnic differences in experiences of SMD.
The PDU is a National Lottery Community Fund supported project run by NCVS in partnership with Opportunity Nottingham. It aims to promote and facilitate collaborative learning and the sharing of good practice among professionals in Nottingham and neighbouring areas, who work with people experiencing multiple disadvantage. There is £2,000 available to assist a specialist organisation to work with the PDU to develop an e-learning resource on each subject. The training will be developed by the successful applicant and their organisation, with design support from the PDU. The resources will be owned and delivered by the PDU.

The closing date is Friday 10 September 2021.
Forms will be anonymised before being sent for review. The successful bid applicant will be informed by email by the end of September (2021).
