McCarthy Stone Foundation has opened its Spring 2024 Grant, which is aimed at organisations supporting the elderly. Grants of up to £7,500 (there is no minimum grant amount; however, McCarthy Stone recommends a minimum ask of £3,000) are available for registered charities, community groups with a constitution, or Community Interest Company (CICs) working in England, Scotland, or Wales with an annual turnover of under £250,000.
Eligible organisations will:
- Be working with adults over sixty-five years old.
- Provide direct person-centred interventions e.g. befriending services.
- Be working working in an area of high deprivation affecting older people. It is advised to reference their divisional map on your application. McCarthy Stone Foundation will now accept applications from organisations working outside these areas of deprivation; however, they will not be prioritised.
