Freemasons’ Charity: Children and Young People programme

There is no set deadline

The Masonic Charitable Foundation has opened its small and large grant programmes for charitable organisations working with early years (up to five years of age), children affected by domestic abuse, children with special educational needs and disabilities, and people with dementia and their carers. 

The small grant programme provides funding of between £1,000 and £5,000 per year for up to three years. Charities must have an annual income of between £25,000 and £500,000. This funding is unrestricted and does not have to be used on a specific purpose, although grant recipients must report on how they used the funding. The total amount of grant requested must not exceed 20% of the total income of the charity. 

Large grants provide funding of between £10,000 and £60,000 per year for up to three years and is aimed at larger charities with an annual income of between £500,000 and £5 million. These grants are restricted for specific projects with defined goals and budgets, it may be spent on things like salaries, equipment, training, monitoring and administration.
