The Leche Trust has grants of up to £4,000 for projects that support work that is original and nurtures artists and their creativity. The funder is keen to support smaller projects and organisations with an annual turnover of less than £1.5 million. Applicants must be UK registered charities or public authorities; Community Interest Companies (CICs), and individuals will not be funded.
Their priorities are:
- The development, production and/or performance of new works in music, theatre, dance and performance across all genres.
- To support artists’ professional development through programmes that address a clear need or gap in development. These programmes can be aimed at early or mid-career artists but they need to reflect current context and practices.
