Community Builders Fund
The Community Builders Fund provides loans of between £100k and £1.5m to UK charities and social enterprises based in England, Wales and Scotland who are improving people’s lives or the environment they live in.

To be eligible, you must be:
- Legally constituted and a registered charity or social enterprise.
- Primarily constituted for social benefit, improving people’s lives or the environments they live in
- Operating for at least two years
- Minimum turnover of £400k in its last financial year
- Not subject to any insolvency proceedings, e.g., winding-up, administration, insolvency, or bankruptcy
Energy Resilience Fund
The Energy Resilience Fund (ERF) provides a blended funding package of loan (60%) and grant (40%) to bolster the energy resilience of eligible charities and social enterprises in England.
Charities and social enterprises based in and delivering impact in England, who are looking to improve their energy resilience. This could be for many different reasons, for example reduced carbon emissions, energy cost savings, upgrading energy efficiency ratings to meet future regulations, increased use or comfort of buildings, replacing older vehicles and equipment with modern energy efficient versions.
Reach Fund
The Reach Fund helps charities and social enterprises raise investment. The grant is aimed at helping these organisations provide the final information that investors need before they can invest. The programme offers grants on average of between £5,000 and £15,000.
The Reach Fund is for charities and social enterprises located in England that need help providing the information that an investor needs.
You can only apply for a grant through this programme following a referral from an access point. Access points are social investors approved by the Reach Fund who refer organisations they are working with to apply for grants – Groundwork is an access point for the Reach Fund.
