Futures Community Grants

Deadline for applications is Tuesday 30 April 2024

Jointly funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and the European Social Fund, the Community Grants programme gives small charities and voluntary/community organisations, with a turnover of less than £750,000, an opportunity to access funds to deliver projects that help engage and progress hard to reach individuals towards the labour market.

Grants of between £10,000 and £25,000 are available for projects or initiatives in Nottinghamshire that help people take steps towards a future career and reduce unemployment and inactivity.

Priority will be given to applications that target participants who are:

  • Aged 18 -24 NEET (not in education, employment, or training).
  • Over 50.
  • With learning difficulties and disabilities.
  • From ethnic minority backgrounds
  • Are women.
  • Unemployed for over six months.
  • Furthest removed from the labour market with significant barriers to employment.
