Join Harmless – the national centre of excellence for self harm and suicide prevention – as it leads National Self Harm Awareness Day 2025 with its annual flagship conference.
Featuring a range of expert speakers and leading academics, this is your opportunity to join delegates from across the sector for an engaging day of specialist and evidence-based content. Fully CPD-accredited, the conference will deliver knowledge and practical solutions for implementation in real-life situations, as well as the chance to network and share experiences.
The theme for 2025 is "Every Life Matters, But Who Do We Save? The competing demands on services when delivering life-saving self harm and suicide prevention work."
As at previous events, the strategic focus will be on:
• Collaborative Partnership
• Service-User Representation
• Effective Practice
• Driving Change
• Overcoming Stigma and Discrimination
After a hugely successful 2024 conference, Harmless is delighted to be returning to Trent Conference Centre. A complimentary hot lunch is provided. Delegates unable to attend in person can also participate via a live stream.
Feedback from our 2023 event:
'Such an excellent, inspiring, passionate day'
'A great mix of delegates and networking opportunities'
'All information was relevant and important. 10/10'
'Thank you, Harmless – a really brilliant day'
The conference format includes plenary presentations and a series of breakout workshops. In-person delegates will be able to choose their breakout workshop sessions in advance.
PLEASE NOTE: Online delegates will be unable to choose which breakout workshops to follow live as it's not possible to broadcast them all simultaneously. However, all workshops will be recorded and available to view online at the conclusion of the conference.
For access to this quality, specialist, evidence-based and CPD-accredited event, tickets are priced at £130 per delegate for in-person admission (including a hot lunch) or £80 per online delegate. All funds raised through ticket sales go towards covering administration costs and to help Harmless sustain its life-saving support for those impacted by self harm and suicide.
