Nottingham City Council new VCS funding model consultation

Registration is closed for this event
Share your views on a new model and priorities for voluntary and community grant funding from Nottingham City Council. Make sure your voice is heard.

Join us for this engagement workshop on Wednesday 17 May 2023, 6pm to 8pm at Queens Walk Community Centre.

Locality UK has been commissioned by Nottingham City Council to undertake research on their behalf, to explore new models and priorities for the City Council's grant programme for the voluntary and community sector.

This research is taking place in partnership with Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service (NCVS) so that we reach as many local groups and organisations as possible, to hear your views.

The aim is to ensure that grants are responsive to the current context of the cost of living crisis and pressures on social care for 2023/24, and that time and creativity for a future model from 2024/25 can be developed.

At this workshop, you will hear the background to Nottingham City Council funding, other local authority approaches, have the chance to ask questions and share your views and experience. There is a choice of workshops. You only need to attend one.

Other workshops are taking place on 3 May (Bestwood Estate Community Centre) and 10 May (New Art Exchange).

There is also an online survey, which everyone is encouraged to complete.

If you have any questions about this engagement event, please email ncvs@nottinghamcvs.co.uk.
