Preparing for our day in court

This blog was written by Mary, one of our Heritage Volunteers

Those present this week ran through the script several times. It flowed well and Liz (‘Betsy’) showed us her costume complete with a rather ‘battered’ looking straw hat which finished the look off beautifully!

We heard that some costume pieces (hats and possibly other items) may be available at the Galleries of Justice for us to use.

Alison reassured those present that there was no need to memorize the lines exactly, and that the main aim was to have some fun!
